Riders should come equipped with the normal gear: bike, helmet, spare tubes, nutrition, etc. This is not an Annapolis Triathlon Club (ATC) sanctioned training event and is not covered by the club’s USAT insurance policy. By showing up and participating you are agreeing to release and hold form harm the ATC from any liabilities. A separate waiver may be required to participate from Bike Doctor at their sole discretion.

Our awesome sponsor Bike Doctor Arnold hosts a group ride that goes out on Wednesday nights, unless there is inclement weather. ATC members and friends are invited out.

There are two groups:

Group 1: “A” Group, these people are like mountain goats, they climb the hills with ease and are FAST, they paceline and have a ‘need for speed’ this is the group to go on if you have two things (1) a desire to build yourself faster and faster and push yourself and (2) a great sense of direction because if you fall behind there is no guarantee of not getting dropped (a cycling term for being left behind). The group holds a pace above 18 miles per hour as an average, ride is about 30 miles


Group 2: “B” Group, these folks are fast in their own right but maybe aren’t as quick. This is a true no drop ride. Folks will stop for one another to catch up and then ride on. A great starting point for many riders just adjusting to riding on the road. Average pace is 15 MPH and is a "no drop" ride, meaning you aren't on your own if you're slower than the larger group.
